Ask a qualified electrician to verify your setup. The 40A model uses a compatible NEMA 14-50 outlet. The 48A model is permanently hardwired by a qualified electrician.

What is the difference between the two models?
The plug-in model delivers up to 9.6 kW. The hardwired model delivers up to 11.5 kW. Actual charging speed depends on the vehicle and electrical supply.
